I’m proudly announcing that my 167 entries from my Y360 were just imported succesfully to WordPress! The greek characters were converted to something like Telugu and the comments were lost:(… but the pictures and my thorough stories were passed seamlessly! After two full years of blogging I leave the cute and nice Yahoo360 to move on to a more mature and professional tool!
Thank you Kiko Santos for creating this software and once again thanks to Camilo de la capital de la montagna for finding the Right link, haha!
I remember my first entry, on December the 5th 2006, while still in eastern Czech Republic…not much has changed on the way I intend to use this blog! Probably the major new fact is that I’m not anymore a Leonardo intern in Ostrava, but a Satyam associate in Hyderabad! Let’s have a quick flashback!
Hello world!
By creating this weblog, I hope to have fun, to share my ideas with old and new freinds and at last make the access of my friends to my adventures easier!!
. The content of ths weblog will be diary entries, amusing stories and sites related to my interests and ofcourse your feedback which you can be sure I’ll always read!!
I ll be writing mainly in english but maybe sometimes I ll do that in greek or german depending on the message and its audience!
A little introduction-update from my side. I live in Ostrava, Czech Republic as a DHL trainee of the Leonardo da Vinci program (November06-April07). I’m originally from Greece , have grown up on Lesvos island and studied Computer Science in Athens University of Economics and Business but have also lived for a few months in Brussels,Belgium(AIESEC CEED) and Berlin,Germany (Erasmus).
Last year I lived an overwhelming, incredible experience as a soldier in the greek army guarding the eastern frontiers of my country.
Enjoy reading and send me your comments!
Chris
Today I’m still staying in, trying out many new online things! Apart from the blog migration, I also just managed to pay two bills online, electricity and mobile phone. You might say “welcome to the digital world caveman”! and you’ll be right. But those of you who know me, you might remember that though I studied computer science and systems security I never really trusted online payments. Almost never, excluding the cases where I paid flight tickets that I couldn’t otherwise/cheaper/later. Till today of course that taking advantage of my Debit Card and the indian vendors online facilities, I went two big steps further! Phewwwww…
